HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

To all the dad's out there, Happy Father's Day. Just to let you know that although we don't mention it enough, you are really an integral part of the family. After all, for most of us, choosing a father for our children is not a particularly easy thing to do these days.

Like a friend of mine, married twice and having had a string of failed relationships, I always remember her words, 'If I can have a man to stay long enough with me to celebrate Father's Day, that will be an achievement.'

But then again, not many know what I know about her. She has two kids from different men but thankfully for her, she is managing just fine. In fact her business has just expanded. She now claims she doesn't need a man in her life. Well, perhaps but I feel that for children, having a man around can make a really big difference in the lives of the kids.

Anyway, if you have been a good dad and a naughty husband, enjoy your treat. I'm certain my significant other will enjoy his treat.
