HIS FIRST DATE SEX

I received this email from a guy Alan, in response to a poll that I published last month - Sex on the first date. Apparently, he engaged in it early this month, his first attempt at it. He is 38, divorced, and his 'victim' was his 26-year old colleague.

He describes it as an accidental thing (how can sex ever be considered accidental?). So it was a movie, dinner and then to the club before they headed back to his place. According to him, they were always pally at work and were on good social terms as well.

However, after that fateful night, things remained as per normal. And he now tells me how she even refuses to acknowledge what they did that night. Well, my response was, What did you expect? Love? It was obviously a one night stand which she did not want to affect her working life.

Here is the thing. Girls do use guys too, in case you didn't already know. In this case, to get off, and have no baggage to carry along after that. She seems like a smart girl, knows what she wants, gets it and goes about with her life unaffected.

So Allen's first day sex would probably be his only sexual outing with her, unless he plays his cards right. Do as she does, play it cool and she may just be drawn back to you for a second date, and more sex. The worse thing you can do is bemoan the situation and be whimpy about it. Move on!
