The First ieat High Tea Session: We came and drank lots of Tea!

Many thanks to everyone who came for our very first Tea Pairing session! We certainly went away with a greater appreciation of the black tea that we all take for granted!  It was so good to have our tea expert around to answer questions like how to cold brew ice tea and share tea tasting tips!  Not only did everyone have lots of tea to drink, but everyone went home with lots more tea to try as well!

Many thanks to Marmalade Pantry for hosting the event and especially to Crissy for helping with the registrations.  Their new restaurant which is set in the lush and quiet greenery of the old Turf club is an excellent place for that lazy weekend branch and afternoon tea! Thanks also to Dilmah for sponsoring the teas and the goodie bags and also to James and Joel for taking the photos!

Now that we all know a bit more about tea, I hope that the next high tea that you attend will take on a whole new meaning!
