Think of it this way. Even if we don't give them sex because they didn't do something we asked of or expect them to do, it's the same thing. In that sense, I think more of us actually fall in that category. Honestly, I'm surprised that it's only 84%! We are after all, born with the art of sexual manipulation!
Another finding of the survey showed that 12% of married people sleep alone. Well, here, I do somewhat agree with it. However, I'd like to say that just because a couple sleep alone does not translate to them not having sex. In fact, quite the opposite.
I've met many couples who do sleep in different beds/rooms so that they can get a goodnight's rest. But their sex lives are extremely active. When the twain do meet, it's like two bunnies humping on a bright spring morning.
Finally, the survey also revealed that an average person has sex 103 times a year. Obviously, they never got any respondents from Singapore because we would have dragged it down by double-digit percentage points! In the 2005 Durex Sex Survey, we were at 96 times a year!
That in itself is a massive problem. I mean 1.84 times a week? No wonder our birth rates are what they are. The government should shift their focus on making babies. I mean seriously, the bigger problem is getting them to get down to some serious (and more frequent) screwing!
Forget the national calls of Swing Singapore or Sing Singapore, it should be Screw Singapore!
