SEX PERKS - PART 6

If you are feeling down of late, before you head to your physician begging for anti-depressants, try getting laid. No, I'm not being dismissive or anything like that because a humping session in the sack can lift you out of your depressive stat.

It has to do with the release of endorphins into the bloodstream that helps to generate that elusive feeling of euphoria that can alleviate emotional lows. And considering how so many of us women are at our hormones' mercy, this is a good reason why we should stop using the 'I've got a headache tonight' excuse.

I remember not long after my second child was born, I sank into the much-dreaded post-natal depression. It was hard on me and everyone around me essentially. Those were the days when mention of endorphins would almost certainly elicit a quizzical look from anyone. Thankfully, my significant other was determined and persistent. The rest is history. I gave in to him and what do you know, in a week, I was out of the syndrome that had affected me for almost two years!

I'm not saying it would work for everyone but there is really nothing to lose, is there?
