Nothing quite thrills a woman more than receiving lingerie as a present in the mail. What will make it even better is when it is a perfect fit. Unfortunately, not many women can say that. And I’m not just referring to those who receive gifts from boyfriends. Husbands get it wrong too.

Buying lingerie is one of the things that you just have to get spot on. There is no margin of error because too big and she may interpret it as you suggesting she is out of shape, while too small a size may open up an uncomfortable discussion about you not knowing (and paying close attention to) her well - I'm guessing that's not a conversation you will look forward too. Besides, it is unlikely that you will be able to return any such intimate items for obvious reasons.

Ask her what she likes; strapless bras or with straps, under-wire or smooth cups, full coverage or demi-bras, panties or thongs, conservative or kinky. What type of fabric does she adore?

Remember you are buying something she has to feel comfortable in and not what you want to see her in. If you go through that trouble, she will appreciate it and you can expect to be rewarded kindly.

Women know men don’t fancy shopping so when a guy takes the trouble to buy something for her, and gets it right, she will be impressed. Many women feel great to occasionally have her man buy clothes for her and the more intimate the item, the more intimacy she is likely to reward him with.
