HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

Well, it's finally here. No, not merely another public holiday but a day to celebrate our country. Yes, we're just a little red dot and have taken a lot of flak from the mostly-western community but ironic how so many of them love it here.

For us though, this is the only home we know and we really need to do something to prevent ourselves from being extinct in 30 years! So start procreating and do you part to keep our country alive.

It's really a great place to live and work. Yes, it's getting expensive but seriously, do you honestly think it's not getting expensive elsewhere? Besides, you can't put a price on safety and being able to walk the streets at night and feel relatively safe. Enjoy the parade and most of all, the fireworks.

I hope you have a wonderful National Day. I've also included a National Day video circa 1998, (my favourite one) which showcases some flashbacks of what Singapore used to be like in the 60s and early 70s. Definitely brings back fond memories of an innocent and simple era.
