HOW LONG DO YOU DO IT? (POLL 48)

In a poll carried out in a popular men's magazine in June 2011, it was revealed that 33% (1 in 3) of the men surveyed have sex for about 18 minutes. It was also reported that the women who were informed of this finding wished that it could be about twice that long.

Granted there are numerous factors involved - emotionally, mentally and physically - I believe that it does hover around that number. My recent survey also concluded that the majority of men have sex for between 10 to 20 minutes.

Now that is way too short for me. Even my so-called quickies will not be for less that 20 minutes. If sex is not long enough, it's really hard to find enjoyment in it, at least that is what most women tell me.

I think it is the responsibility of both the man and woman to learn delaying tactics, if they both want to reap the full benefits of a sexual release.

Here are the results of the poll held on Missus Singapore in late June.

Less than 10 minutes: 22 (15.7%)
Between 10 and 20 minutes: 47 (33.6%)
Between 20 and 30 minutes: 27 (19.3%)
Between 30 and 45 minutes: 21 (15%)
Between 45 and 60 minutes: 13 (9.3%)
More than an hour: 10 (7.1%)
